Heidi LOVES helping people which is probably why she also LOVES what she does! During her many career paths, prior to getting into the wedding industry 20 years ago, Heidi learned how to effectively provide excellent client service, multi-task and perform under pressure. Her patience, calm demeanor, personable attitude and determination to please her clients, have made her respected among her clientele and industry professionals. Besides planning and coordinating weddings and events, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family, does occasional gardening, is a foodie, and loves to travel!

Gerry is a very creative and talented artist who graduated from the Art Institute of Cincinnati in 1990 and started his career in advertising. With over twenty years of experience he has designed logos, brochures, collateral systems, websites and just about anything related to marketing communications. Gerry provides our clients with design, printing and assembly services for wedding/reception stationery including seating charts, place cards, signage, table numbers, menu cards and programs. In his spare time he will get lost in his studio for hours painting abstract and fine art. Art is not just a passion and a career for him, he also likes to use his talents to help out charitable organizations.

Heidi was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process. She was extremely patient dealing with my daughter who was out of town, difficult to reach and wanted to review/approve every detail. She kept everything organized and on schedule. We had a few hiccups with vendors and she caught these immediately and got the issues resolved quickly. On the day of the wedding Heidi and her team kept everything running smoothly and on time. (A huge accomplishment for my ALWAYS late family.) I am the MOB. Hiring a wedding planner for me was a very personal choice. I interviewed 3 other professional planners in person and spoke to others on the phone. I chose Heidi of I Thee Wed for many reasons. I felt our personalities matched perfectly. My daughter and I were well organized but I felt I needed a professional to be my team, to double check my ideas, vendor choices and ultimately be my eyes the day of the wedding. Heidi was always responsive, and extremely detail oriented. Being MOB for most is a one time experience, while Heidi and her team have managed hundreds of weddings and reviewed and hired and fired multiple vendors. They have experience in the wedding industry that I do not. It may be a luxury to hire a planner, but when you consider the amount of money invested in this one day it is a very small percentage of the cost of a wedding, but in the end will guarantee that everything comes off exactly as your bride and you planned and dreamed of. They are intelligent and sophisticated and respective of complex family issues that always happen in wedding planning. They will handle any bump in the planning with grace and tactfully handle any situation. I highly recommend them. I consider them like family but without all the emotions. If you are considering a planner meet with Heidi for sure. Very Thankful I hired I Thee Wed.
